Etiquette is defined as the “customary code of polite behavior in society,” but it’s not meant to bond you to conformity or to make others think of you as superior. It’s so we all know how to show respect to one another in different situations. You don’t need to have perfect etiquette (the Lord knows I make mistakes), but it’s a good idea to make an effort to learn modern etiquette so you can use it to show respect to the people around you.
